Michele Dunleavy has choreographed and performed extensively throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. She works in a variety of dance forms including tap, jazz, and modern, and her choreography has been presented by arts organizations in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, NYC, Maryland, and West Virginia. In addition to performing her own work Michele has danced with Take it Away Productions, Pittsburgh Opera, Junction Dance Theatre, Physical Theatre Project, DANA Movement Ensemble, ETCH Dance Co., and B3W. Recent projects include: 5/4 Ever a Tribute to the Life and Music of Dave Brubeck, Bond a commission for jorsTAP, an all female tap ensemble based in Chicago, and collaborations with Kompitus Rhythm Collective in Helsinki, Finland. Michele has received numerous awards and grants for her work including support from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, and the Institute for the Arts and Humanities and College of Arts and Architecture at Penn State University.
Charles Hall is a percussionist, bassist, vocalist and composer with a love for dance accompaniment. While living in Los Angeles, Charles began accompanying jazz and modern dance classes at Regina's and the California Dance Center. He then joined LA Contemporary Dance, Universal Dance, Debbie Reynolds Dance, Moro Landus Dance, Main Street and Dancers Home dance studios. Charles also worked with Loretta Livingston and Dancers, The Kin Dance Co., Whinafred Harris' Between Lines, The Pacific Dance Ensemble UCLA, Loyola Marymount University, Plaza De La Raza and the California Institute of the Arts. Returning to Pittsburgh, Charles has worked for Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Point Park University, Dance Alloy, Mary Miller Dance Co, Expressions Contemporary Dance Co, LABCO and Attack Theatre. Charles has worked as an artist-educator for Gateway to the Arts, the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts, and is proud staff member of the Pittsburgh CLO Academy.
