Transformed: Digital to Corporeal
Kresge Gallery at Marywood University, Scranton, PA
Transformed: Digital to Corporeal is an exhibition featuring works of contemporary artists who use digital fabrication techniques such as 3D scanning, 3D printing, CNC Milling and robotics as a part of their art making process. As these tools become more affordable, these processes are more commonly utilized by artists as part of their studio practice. This exhibition showcases the variety of ways artists are using digital fabrication to create their work by transforming what once was a digital model into a physical object.
